#155562 - Interfacing an LED grid to the 8051...
Hi all,

I want to interface an LED grid to the 8051. My requirement is that I should be able to control the lighting of an individual LED, and not an individual segment of an digit(which is what most ICs provide).

Can anyone please tell me which driver IC I should use? Basically I want to display a bar graph over the LED grid. So I need to be able to light up columns of the LED array till a particular LED along the column.

So I do not need control over each LED per se, but rather till the point in a column where all LEDs will light up, only in that column.

Thanks in advance,

regards
