Since you are using matrices which implies multiplexsing of the first order, multiplexing the matrices (second order) will be virtually impossible. What you need to do is to figure out how much intensity you need vs maximum on current for the LED's As an example: if a steady current of 10 mA gives you the intensity you need and the max current for the LEDs is 40 mA, you can not multiplex more than 4:1. Erik PS the more you multiplex, the less features you can implement without paying more or the processor and the code than the MPX saves you. |
