Hi,
in my project I'm planning to use 10 LJ23X1-21 (8x8 dot matrix's), aligned in 5 columns with 2 rows and 4 demultiplexers (3 HEF4514 and 1 HEF1415) controlled by a AT89S8252.
After reading this thread and how multiplexing can be bad due to the high current in the LED's I'm asking, how can I implement it differently (registers and everything else)?

My idea was to "scan" every LED at a very high frequency and turn it on or off using the demultiplexers ENABLE...
