#17084 - RE: MS in Embedded Systems...Duh |
Sorry but I dont get wot T was saying...
Good news tho'.. I jusrt gave my GRE and got a decent score of 2200 Anyway, since you teach in some universities, Duh, you could tell me what sort of courses are involved...? I am applying for EE in some univs, and ECE/CS in others. Nowadays the distinction between EE/CE/CS is almost non-existent in most univs Is it advisable to go specifically for embedded systems, or should I do it along with a different major, say CS/Robotics/DSP? Please help BTW Duh, i put a search for "universities" on this site, and stumbled across an old posting of yours (with your old handle I suppose) that discussed how programmers don't liked to give away difficult routines they managed to develop... :D I think the key phrase in that mail was where you took your new handle from ... "well DUH"!! Anyway I agree with you completely there... That 32-and-6-bit divide using 8-bit divide algorithm is arguably my best work so far in my limited embedded programming experience, and it has been asked for by several people... B-) ... yet as proud I am of it, I just can't bear to give the code away :D !! Anyway I keep telling them that it has been optimized for a certain range of values Unfortunately I am pretty sure ppl have come up with better and more generic algorithms too :D Kundi |
