As a student of computer science as well as management, I am really interested in embedded systems..

But i realise the fact that the micro-processors and the micro controllers are already produced by intel and others...while the chip fabrication is mostly done in the south east asia...

What do u ppl think:

1) Where Does India's current & potential competencies in Embedded Systems lie?
2) Where do u see a demand-supply gap in embedded systems at present?
3) Where do u see scope of development the future?
4) If an Indian Corporate House wants to enter into this business in a big way (globalising their activities), what shud it look into in embedded systems? e.g. - TCS wants to get global in Embedded systems, what should be the necessary steps to be taken by TCS apart from what it is doing currently?
5) What will the maximum use of embedded systems in the future?
6) where do we find resources on the emebededd systems current and potential applications?
