#17228 - RE: MS in Embedded Systems...Duh |
I could come back with a dozen snappy retorts to that one :D , but it would mean exacerbating a brewing EE vs. CS (Contraceptive Science? Sorry couldnt resist ! :D ) war, which would mean I won't get the much needed advise I came here lookin for in the first place :)
I think a graduate degree is the first step of any path I must take or make... Say Duh, can you take Management Courses along with the Technical ones as part of my MS? Do univs allow that? Anyway, now that Ive secured a pretty decent score on the GRE, I gotta apply fast before the deadlines for Fall 2002 creep past... Anyone know any good univs where they have respectable/ interesting/ relevant research + courses for Embedded Systems? ESPECIALLY with late deadines :-))!! I sent my scores to Virginia Tech (EE), UCLA (EE)(!!!),UTx Austin (EE) and USC (CS - good courses like iItelligent Emb Sys in robotics). What would u advise me to apply to? And how should I write my Statement of Purpose ? Should I say I was *made* for Embedded Systems, or would it be better if I just mentioned Electronics/ Electrical in general? Kunal |
