#17197 - RE: MS in Embedded Systems...Kunal |
I realize that starting my own company is in fact my ultimate goal...
Well, R&D actually, but if I know that if I OWN my own R&D , my inventions belong to me and not some managers intent on exploiting my brains!! :D If anyones gonna exploit brains, its gonna be me :-)) I suppose I am taking the right field for that...The good thing in CS is its so easy to come up with a good idea and even easier to implement it. But they dont seem to last, do they? A great, revolutionary concept in a more "real", tangible field will be longer lasting... To find a niche, of course, I need to work in the industry... and to get a job where I can learn the most,I am going for MS. I did seriously consider an MBA, but I realized that I was also interested in the technical side, cos that' where I have the most creativity. Why not make a biz out of my own ideas? Unfortunately Murphy's law intrudes: "If you have a great Idea, somebody's had it before and better" :D To my chagrin, Holographic Transistors & Optical Computing and Thrust Vectoring in jets has already been invented :D --- but you must admit, I get pretty neat ideas! I just need to keep getting them until I get one that nobody else has got before :D Kundi |
