Being out of town and busy i just read this thread top to bottom.

I like a lot of the points made, however, the "tone" of many comments does put me back when issues such as "professional answers" and "guru" are "eye of the beholder" characteristics.

Literally, you could only expect a professional answer from someone who made their living (were paid) answering questions. This, of course, would not imply any quality of answer.

"Guru" to the limit of my experience (and i believe there are folks on this board who could provide the a more correct definition) is a teacher. In this respect i learn a lot from many of the folks on this board.

As i said i haven't consulted 8052 this week and in revue-ing the post's i see a lot of great input and exchange. I wish the "FLAME WAR" approach could be avoided as it dilutes the information content.
