#29124 - RE: Defining base address
Use a 74LS138 to decode the top three address lines, A13, A14, A15 and the eight outputs will provide base addresses of 0xxxh, 2xxxh, 4xxxh, 6xxxh, on thru Exxxh. Tie the G2A and G2B inputs to ground and the G1 input to PSEN to prevent decoding during an external program fetch. Use the active low outputs of your choice as chip enables or chip select for your devices.
