One thing that was brought up in this discussion was that it was beyond what an "amateur" would do to start programming PLDs. a few things
1) I write from the viewpoint of professional design methods.
2) How does one identify an amateur vesus an employee.
3) Does most amateurs not "dream" of becoming professionals
4) If 3 is true, should we direct amateurs to take routes they must discard when becoming professionals.
