#3761 - my conclusion |
several months ago,my question was on why the 8051,2 was the
"psedo industry standard" vs: the z80--with the cursory position being the z80 was a far supierior machine than the '51,2... (caused by the ? on why analog devices used the 8052 core rather than any other 8 bitter). after much code writing now for the aduc812 (8052 core),no doubt the z80 is a far better micro than the 8052,indeed the 8080a is for that matter also.(not sure on 6800--been a while) no insurmountable problems,as generally any ol' micro will do the job,it is too bad the z80 was out of time,or not chosen by adi rather than.no doubt though the 'data aqu. on a chip' is nice no matter what micro. reg-jack |
