Look at an 8052AH -basic system with even less. (three or four chips) The ZX80 was stuffed with logic, even the ZX81 cheated into a Ferranti ULA.(and the basic was less powerful than 8052 basic !).

Err why ? Would you then buy all this extra complexity ? It seems you want these on the offchance that they might come in useful rather than because they are necessary.
