#3788 - RE: my conclusion |
Hi Jack,
I remember you asked same questions to this forum, and me and Steve answered your question. I started working on 8051 almost 8 months back, but i had been reading a lot about Z80 and variants, 68000, 6809, 68C11 etc. I found 8051 is not just a good microcontroller, but it is the industry standard also. I also feel that even if I need something different/better then 8051, I would rather prefer to move-on to Atmel's RISC based AVR, simple, fast and cheap. I will never look at the Zilog. Many answers you got already this time and before. With due respect, I am suspicous now, you seems employee of Zilog. If you want to be Columbus, go ahead, no one is stopping you, and once you discover new world please let us know, we will be glad on your success. And if not... so please do not ask this question again and quitely start using 8051... Rauf |
