as far as the micro*--(really thought my analogy of a frog sufficed)

if you remove the ports from the '52--whatchya got a microprocessor.
if you add a port(s) to the z80 (can be memory mapped)--whatchya
got a microcontroller.add a chip--(real estate) big deal spcly' with
surface mount stuff.

all the same to me...would rather have my set of 29 drill bits in 64th
inch increments than the 8 pack my dad gave me a long time ago
(perhaps except for nastalga sake--even then would not use but
keep in glass case)---and certainly would prefer another set in 128th
increments and another in metric.....
