you are right. the error terms will cancelout. but problem is, we assumed that light source is emitting the spectrum throughout the test and this will not cancel out if intensity changes after blanking and staderization has been done. no matter what Vcesat is but it should not change with temprature or time. dVcesat/dT should have a value 0.
