The max 6818 has been mentioned here a few times. I read the aplication notes and other stuff from Maxim/Dallas, and have a single question:

Is this device as great as it looks?

It fit my aplication almost perfect, it is available right here, - it could be the best thing next to sliced bread. Is there anything - exept the price - that should keep me from using it?
