Yes, it is superfluous. Such devices only useful on pure TTL logic circuits. On a microcontroller always further processing was needed (e.g. transition detection) and thus the debouncing overhead was nearly zero. E.g.: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=57958 Peter |
