Sorry to disagree but with mutliple inputs all needing to be debounced its not an insignificatn amout of time wasted.To be honest the only time i have seen debouncing done properly in software is actually in a dallas/maxim datasheet.Not to mention the blocked waiting states it causes in multitasking o/s systems,its a pain,its rarely done correctly and its not needed.
