Still talking about the Maxim chips. The datasheets say the programming mode is as long as the set of condition occurs ,so I must keep the chip in reset state for the whole programming process, not just for a moment when PSEN is held low. As soon as I allow any of these: Reset to go low or PSEN or EA to go high, the MCU leaves the programming mode and enters either normal operation or standard reset state.
