Hi, I need help interfacing a IR demodulator to a 8052. the sensor is a 273 138 from radio shack, so far I have this sensor running to a BJT amp, I am not sure if this is needed or not...then I have the output of the amp going to a digital input in on a 8255 connected to a 8052. Now, I wrote a test program in basic 52 is this language fast enough? I get input from the circuit but none of the binary seems to be consistant. The project was to have an 8052 micro understand the IR coming from any remote.. I would appreciate any help or points in the right direction. This project is driving me crazy please help..
