steve, could you help me with another problem, I am just learning basic 52...this relates to the IR problem...how do I add strings? I want to add bits into a full byte.....so the data that coming from the IR detector will be added I.E 1011110001111.

I have looked through the manual but it doesn't help me with this problem...
maybe if I could do this it would speed up execution time....
