1) You are in trouble even before you start. Both Philips and now Atmel, for their latest releases, (and probably some more) do not disclose programming information for their chips to anyone but certified programmer manufacturers any more. My source has that this is because they spent too much time and money on handling customer claims of defective chips which were shown to be due to maginal programming. 2) With ISP being the norm today those that can not afoord an Industrial strength programmer (in order to speed up the programming) will rely on ISP. The market for a non-certified device that will save you a few seconds and cost $100+ is extremely small. A few years back you might have had a market, I doubt one exist today. Erik |
