Most of the AVR devices are ISP and many of the 8051 are that way already (as with most flash micros these days). I always try to use ISP micros in my designs as do most people as it makes good economic and engineering sense. My super duper program everything programmer gathers dust these days!
If you want a universal programmer - try ebay for a used one. |
