#78665 - RE: motivating... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi,
So instead of a single universal programmer how many different cables and connections do you have? I use similar config. To work with wide range of hardware I have expand I/O ports` board installed. As for now, it includes: LPT0 - JTAG programmer for Altera CPLD LPT1 - AT89S... PonyProg SPI programmer COM0 - 1-wire for Dallas i-Button products COM1 - ChipProg parallel programmer COM2 - RS232 cable for FLIP software COM3 - SiLabs [Cygnal] IDE. In fact, all these cables/connectors annoy sometimes. But I doubt that it is useful task to elaborate a kind of "universal programmer" for all I need now (and will need in the future).
