Again, I really hate to say this, but you need to read the datasheet before you decide what to design with and how to design with it

Right Erik, I still have the bitter taste of using ICL7660 without carefully reading the datasheet for getting +9 and -9 from +5 for my opamps. and one must always pay adequate attention to those graphs given in datasheet.
