#80495 - RE: Philips and RC resets.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Raghunathan,

It strikes me as a bit deceptive too. I would like to see them explicitly state that this is not the most reliable approach. I would like to see them include empiracal data concerning the performance reliability of an RC reset circuit, so people can make an informed decision about thier particular needs.

But I suspect they figure that this is the first problem every new designer has to figure out and that therefore the ones who are still here already know these things.

Joe

P.S. They specify a 10 F cap huh? That must be one of those VandeGraff capacitors.
