it's actually ICP (hence no serial support for LPC932 - they said "yet"...).

ISP generally refers to In-Situ Programming, not distinguishing the method. Only Philips is using it specifically for the UART/bootloader method.

SmartProg is a low-cost but good value programmer; BeeProg is a more expensive, but connects to USB.
