If you go round saying things like that then you'll spoil the sales of his new book and he'll be all sad.
There seems to be a trend towards real time operating systems running on everything which is helped by people not understanding issues like this one.
I was yesterday sent some literature about implementing a real time o/s running on an 8052 which is being emulated on a microblaze softcore processor which is implemented inside a xilinx fpga,I was dazzled by the stupidity.
