#88450 - it's nice Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I decided on the P89LPC925 as that was the most commonly stocked item in little ol NZ which is pin compatible with the 922
The big issue in using the '51 has, at least for me, been the multiple supplier avialibility. Of course, using the basic chip and umpteen external chips, that is still possible. Now we have the SILabs and Philips derivatives that only miss a kitchen sink. Thus, the SILabs and Philips derivatives got so unique that we are back to single supplier, it is nice that there are "families" which allow you to specify "If xx not available, use xy". For instance one board is specified as 89F124 - or - 89f12x, another is specified 89LPC932 or LPC93x. Erik OK, an American expression "everything but the kitchen sink" mean all you could wish for. |
