Mehdi Mehdi, As I already responded to Kai, I'm almost sure the switch isn't the problem (pls. see my answer). Otherwise, if I don't connect the switch to pin0 of the IO expander, why would I see a +5Vdc on the scope when the switch isn't pressed and 0V when it's pressed? I'm still puzzled...
