This case is a special case in all projects that i do or see!
So,there are some possibility 1).damaged sw,that you say sw is worked properly 2).dameged PCF8574 IO expander do you test this problem with other pins of IO EXP it seems that going high the pin needs large moment of currents that only vcc can provide it if this idea is true,see the IO EXP datasheet for maximum needed sinking current in normal situation and find the current when it wants go high through vcc so you easily find that problem is from where! At last Do you connect your sw directly to controller to finding is the problem in upper layer? Rgds Mehdi |
