http://www.spectrum.ieee.org/WEBONLY/p.../semi.html The problems faced could be due to some intermittent hardware fault in any one of the subsystems: Voltage Stabiliser, Computer, Connector,Cable etc. Even improper AC supply can cause such problems if the stabiliser (is it there, or SMPS)is marginally bad.
