#93635 - Define your Simple
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi,

I don't know what do you mean by saying "simple" but in my opinion if you talking SBC, then i am thinking a processor, external code-memory, external RAM and I/O.

If I am right, then you will actually need or use the 8031 or 8051 with EA set to GND, you will put the latch on Port 0 with its CS to ALE, then you will take Port 2 together with output from latch to form an Address Bus to RAM and Code-Mem. and thier data out will be connected to form Data Bus to Port 0.

Then you will need to use PSEN to select the Code Memory and you will need to use the RD and WR to the RAM.

I don't have to explain everything but i think i painted a picture.

If i were wrong then you need to further define your "Simple"

Regards
Lehuma
