I gave up using stripboard years ago. Too many tracks to cut. I breadboard on the similar 0.1" drilled matrix board but with individual pads that are unconnected. You interconnect using either BTC (bare tinned coppper wire) or the uncut legs of the passive components themselves. Much easier. But the pads are not as mechanically stable (they will come unstuck whilst soldering if there is any lifting force on them) as Veroboard, where the rest of the strip holds the hotspot in place. A piece I have in my hand has 'Roth Electronik' stamped on it, is available in SRBP or glassfibre, and it is in Eurocard size. I think it came from RS or Farnell. |
