OK so I guess your professor would not be happy with a ready built system probably. Bot if yes, try to get some - see Erik's message.
If you are going to build something, the easiest really is get the RD2, if you can get it in Romania, it should be around $10; get a 2x20 character LCD module, wire it up, get some 4x4 key keyboard from a local supplier, they sometimes come together with a nice box with a window for the LCD (or you can attach a PC keyboard).
