You missed one option, a combined SRAM+FLASH, loading the data from FLASH upon powerup, running from/to SRAM, storing to FLASH automatically upon powerdown. Direct drop-in replacements for SRAMs available from ZMD ( http://www.zmd.de ), we have used them succesfully. I have seen something similar at http://www.simtek.com , but have no experience with the latter. Jan Waclawek |
