First, I think you're doing a great job!
I've been visiting a few other forums recently, and noticed that many of them do have an "Off-Topic" section; eg http://www.avrfreaks.net/index.php...file=index Craig Steiner said:

Yes, I've generally been against it: so many people seem to have trouble following the basic rules of searching first, etc - without having to think about which of a multitude of forums to use! Again, it's often hard to categorise questioins: someone might post a problem as a "Hardware" issue, but someone else might suggest a software solution, or it might turn out to be software anyway, or vice-versa... But I think an "Off-Topic" section would be useful - it should be quite easy to recognise off-topic threads, and just move them to the off-topic section. |
