Concerning your improvements idea, I hope the wiki will be the solution.
Concerning forum moderation I (IMHO) think that : - Thomas is totally right, censorship should only be applied to really off topic sujects (spam...) - When discussing OT subjects on the forum, between mebers of the forum and therefore people with a common community(embedded) and cultural(engineering or associated) background is not Off Topic. - As the forum is technical, nobody should be influenced by others opinion but that there is no need to hide them I believe that off topic chat is the real life of the forum. Nobody here wants to be a answering machine just pointing technical facts. The mere existence of abreviations like IMHO points that feelings are involved in the process of posting, removing them would be killing the forum. Btw, did you ever speak about work when having a break... Best regards Benjamin |
