#98365 - re: works here
Responding to: ???'s previous message
cheerz Craig, the program is working on your hardware, atleast this has put smile on my face :)
okay so here comes more info, when I run program on LCD , 'HELLO' appears on first line but 'J' does not apprear anywhere at all, infact I have tried different texts and all of them appear perfectly fine on top line, texts, spaces, speacial characters all could be displayed on first line but for second line its just not happening.
its a 16x2 display. Just one thing more I persume the contrast has to be connected to high (+5V)via potentiometer but in my case It works when I connect it to GND via resistance.
could it be problem?
