I have just tried your program Craig but still there is no display, and I agree with you that when same program is initialising your LCD then it must be right, what about this guys as this contrast thing came up so I just changed the resistance at my contrast pin and when I do that the top line changes I mean I could see boxes appearing, with further change in resistance display fades away BUT ALL THE ACTION IS ON TOP LINE, nothing happening on bottom line, even If there is no display on bottom line still don't you guys think that atleast it should react to change in contrast resistance (display wise). But we are sure that its initialised properly, as it runs on craigs hardware , what else could it be? Regards J |
