So extra processors to handle to debouncing and the extra code cost less than the dallas parts do they? I dont think so
If you talk about the MAX6818 it cost at least $1 more than a small micro.

Anyhow as posted there is no need for extra processors, if no special handling is requirted. So, in that case, the "dallas part replacement" will be a $0.16 HC chip.
