An IDE, a debug monitor, a simulator, and an emulator (ICE). You have to build the ICE hardware, which is basically a DS5000T. I actually need to dig out the one I built and get it working again.
One thing about the assembler is that it doesn't have segment support. I'm sure there is a way around that, but I've learned to deal with it. I actually didn't know what that was until I used Pinnacle and Metalink. When I needed technical support, I always got to talk to Dave himself. As far as SDCC and the 8051/52 I don't think you get the debugger/simulator unless you're running Linux. Jon |
