that is blatantly false If that were so, why do they use bondout chips? Isn't that bondout chip an MCU? It's certainly not the one in the target. In some cases, it doesn't even do that, in that it only simulates running the monitor program on the host machine.
That would not be an ICE Better, tell that to the guys who sell 'em! They have a tentacle into the target system and monitor it through that, but still do the trace, etc, through their "emulation software." Erik |
