If you download the actual snapshots, the debugger/simulator *is* work(ish) under WXP, but I don't quite dig command-line debugging... :-)

OK that one certainly needs much more work to get it into an usable state. By then, one can get a SiLabs devboard or a Ramtron Versa devkit - for said $99 (at least in USA, I payed more).
