Putting and executing(interpreting) code from serial EEPROM sounds vey interesting.
My first "computer" design ran a 10 instructions per second, it's "code memory" was paper tape in a teletype. That was in the days when you could get a TT for a few hundered bucks and a minicomputer for a small fortune. This sounds like about the same. Today, when you can get a uC with bells and whistles for less than $1 I can not see why such a concept "sounds vey interesting". Anyhow for those that want to slow down processing to the speed of a slug, Keil has some deviant method of doing the same. Erik |
