Ironically, I've always bit-banged I2C and 1-wire, but I figured if I've got a built-in SPI I may as well use it! I will try bit-banging like you suggest.

The speed is Fclock/128, which works out at 93750 with a 12MHz clock like I'm using. I should be able to see that with my USB scope, but I'm not seeing much at the moment.

Tomorrow is another day...
