I don't think the cost of redrawing a board with X1/X2 swap is an issue

Since layout is a thing I have never developed a knack for (I think an excellent layout person is born, not made), I stay away from it. But the impression I get from responses is that ANY change of layout (using ORCAD) is a major issue.

Oddly enough, although "layout is a thing I have never developed a knack for" I seem to be very good at detecting analog/digital inteference, ground loops etc when asked to review a layout.
