An internal reset issue is the cause of this thread. We have two products with LPC932A1's, using internal reset, that would not start up consistently if the power was cycled too fast. Thought I might use the watchdog to fix that, but NXP tech support implied that it also wasn't guaranteed to work if Vcc didn't drop below 0.2V.

So I decided to do it the right way and be done with it!
