Hello Andy,

The errors you made were much more worse! The errors on your part made the program not work at all! The program you wrote would give checksum answers which would NOT be correct.

The errors pointed out by Maarten Brock (NMEA vs NEMA) were an ITEM description and had nothing to do with the operation of the program itself.
