hi,
thanks for the input. i tried but there is no characters displayed. i bought another lcd cdm16216b with the proper datasheet. i had written a program to display "HELLO WORLD" but the lcd displays "JGNNO WORNF" i.e. the d1 pin is goin high all the time so it is adding 00000010 to all the ascii input to the lcd. i checked the program. there is no problem with it. i also checked the hardware i dont see any problem. is there some other thing i am overlooking?
